Have any Oppos tried one of those Aux/USB modules that plug into the back of the stock car radio? My car only has a CD changer and lacks any form of connectivity. Having to put tunes on a CD is getting rather old and I’d like to be able to use Spotify in the car.

Have an F-type for your time.

I’ve got something similar in the wife’s car but it does Bluetooth as well and works through the fiber optic ring. It’s pretty good, not perfect, but I would buy it again.

I made my own module on a breadboard that did aux in by making the car think it had the factory mini-disc player...if these things do that, it worked fine for ten years.

Dice mediabridge works great — fantastic — in two BMWs so far. Replace the CD changer and plug it in instead, no wiring hassle. Can’t say enough good things about it.

I bought a kit, I think it was called Jumparoo or something like that. You actually took the radio out and apart, then put a Y- ribbon cable in where the CD sound went into the head unit. It worked ok sound was good but not loud enough. Full volume on the phone and full volume on the radio was just loud for a good rockin’ song.

Did fine for day to day functions. A new head unit or other Bluetooth kits today I’m sure work better. This was probably 2008 or 09

Yup, mine was from PAC Audio. Worked well, installed one in my moms car as well. Only thing I’ve noticed with them is that the max volume usually is low.

Seconded for PAC-Audio. Had the Aux/USB version, though for some reason the Aux never worked. Might have been a loose plug once I put the dash back together. But, the USB connection worked great.
